Gursel spent 16 years in London
with his Scottish wife,
working in various restaurants.
He spent 2 years in Basil
Street Hotel,
4 years in the Fours Seasons Hotel, Park Lane
and
9 years with Sir Terence Conran at his
Quaglino's Restaurant in St
James.
During this time he was also building
his Turkish Cooking
Expertise alongside the Head Chef
of the Sofra Restaurants -
Haci Akdogan.
He currently owns his own restaurant - "Haz".
In June 2004 Gursel moved
to Edinburgh
to open his own restaurant - Hanedan.
